 Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering-based, preferably Chemical, Environment, Industrial Safety, Fire and loss prevention
 At least 2 years of experience in the relevant field, but graduates with no experience can apply
 Having Certificates (산업안전기사, 환경기사, 소방기사, 화학분석기사) is beneficial
 Outgoing, sociable and friendly characteristics
 Driver’s license

[업무내용]
Position Summary
This role is accountable for all Environmental Health Safety (EHS) activities for the Songdo, Bioprocess Design Center (BDC) with some assistance provided to other Thermo Fisher Scientific Business Unit of Korea. The role is accountable for Facilities activities at the site in partnership with a third-party provider or Korea Facilities team
Responsibilities

[EHS Tasks]
 Partners with all department on site or Thermo Fisher Scientific Korea for activities including, but not limited to;
 Safety communications and training
 Emergency action and response planning
 Hazardous material and wastes handling
 Industrial Hygiene Management including medical surveillance
 Follows established escalation procedures and incident reporting procedures and Accident investigation
 Establishes and manages required corrective action where environmental health and safety issues or hazardous exist assist and monitors to ensure all building procedures and performance measures are maintained at all times
 Interacts with regulatory auditors and agencies as needed, as well as own the EHS portions of site safety audits and inspections
 Coordinates EHS related responses to customer, corporate, or regulatory agency audits and questionnaires
 Ensures compliance with statutory regulations on fire, health and safety standards, LMO, chemical, etc.

[Facility Tasks]
 Manage third party vendors and contractors as related to onsite activities and projects
 Seek ways to reduce costs and improve operational standards
 Assist in the implementation and management of a property risk management program
 Support the implementation and monitoring of disaster recovering and business continuity plans Implement and manage safety procedures to ensure the provision of a safe working environment
