[업무 소개]

Data Science Business Leader는 Global Data Science 팀의 일원으로서 소비재 및 소매시장 지표 작성에 필요한 모집단 추정, 표본 설계, 관리를 수행합니다. 또한 고객사의 needs에 따라 데이터의 유효성을 통계적 방법으로 검증 분석하고 그 결과를 고객사와 공유하는 역할을 합니다.

 

주요 업무:

·         고객사와 관련된 비즈니스 이슈를 이해하고 해결할 수 있도록 다른 부서들과의 협업을 리딩하고 방안을 제시

·         고객사의 data quality문의에 대하여 통계적 분석을 수행하고 feedback 제공

·         소매유통지표의 high quality 유지 및 고객사의 needs 반영이 될 수 있도록 의견 제시/지원

·         보다 정확한 insight를 제공하기 위해 동남아시아 및 해외 여러 국가들과의 교류, 협업 및 보조

·         분석 보고서 작성 및 프레젠테이션

 

[지원 자격]

1.     대학 또는 대학원 졸업자 및 2016. 2월 졸업예정자

2.       통계, 수학, 경제, 산업공학 전공자 또는 관련학과 전공자

3.       영어 communication (both written and verbal) 가능자 (TOEIC 등 영어 성적 표기)

4.       MS office 사용 가능자 (Excel, Power Point)

5.       통계 프로그램 (SAS, R 등) 사용 가능자

6.       Database (Oracle / MS SQL / MS Access) 경험자 우대

7.       책임감이 강하고 팀워크에 적합한 소양을 갖춘 자

 

Job Purpose:

Data Science is at the core of Nielsen’s market research methodologies. Our associates are highly talented and capable professionals. We are client-focused and deliver quality and cutting edge methods to enable Nielsen’s clients to gain valuable insights about their products.

As an Analyst/senior analyst, this person will be responsible for leading/executing analyses to resolve specific client concerns; serving as liaison between commercial team, quality assurance, operations, engineering, and measurement science teams with regards to client concerns and questions. 

Analyst/Senior Analyst is responsible for answering and supporting Client inquiries around quality, feasibility, and market dynamics of our RMS panels.

 

 

Job Responsibilities:

·        consults with internal and external clients and helps provide expert technical consultation to solve complex Data Science-related issues

·        Provides local knowledge answering questions to the Operations team

·        Ability to turn numbers into stories our clients can understand and respond

·        Ability to use statistical methodologies to analyze the data  

·        On-going monitoring of key indicator across all services

·         Facilitate cross-team 2-way communication, e.g. passing client requirements from commercial team into Data Science, and providing Measurement Science workflow update to commercial team

·        Compiling and delivering documentation material such as power point slides for methodology questions and/or frequently asked questions

·         Works cross team to provide a professional, clear response to all clients  

·         Ability to use data mining to understand complex situation or market dynamics by using an important amount of data

·         Responsible for executing any work related to answer clients’ concerns

 

Role Requirements:

·         Less than 2 years of work experience in the survey research industry with hands on experience in developing and executing survey research methodologies preferred

·         Bachelors degree in Statistics, mathematics, Operations Research, Econometrics, Engineering or Computer Science with outstanding analytical expertise and strong technical leadership

·         Proficient in MS package, SAS, SPSS, R, or other statistical packages

·         Demonstrates experience in survey research methodologies, data collection, platforms, research processes and operations

·         Strong ability to communicate complex ideas in a simple way  

·         Accuracy and attention to detail

·         Ability to autonomously manage simultaneous projects in a fast paced business environment

·         Team players

·         Knowledge in computer science and programming preferred
